My research, professional, and personal interests include languages and literatures, history, museum publishing, higher education, and science, technology and culture. Below is an overview of my authored publications, as well as publications I have project-managed, edited, and translated.

My research work has concentrated on the sea narratives of Herman Melville and Joseph Conrad in the context of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century maritime literature and history.
